Thor’s Universe
In Thor’s universe, the purpose was simple, to gain power and to role over the universe. Thor and Loki both wanted to be the king, but Loki had a more complicated character. He is slim and appears weaker than Thor, but he is smart and knows how to do tricks to reverse the situation. Thor is a fantastic warrior who has great strengths and loves his people. He makes me think that sometimes it is okay to be mighty and forget about being smart. He seemed easy to be fooled by his brother when he was on his mission to bring peace to Asgardian. Though he must spend a long time with his brother during childhood, he was deceived by Loki many times.
There are seven realms in Thor’s universe. The realms are connected by the rainbow bridge, which was guarded by all-seeing God Heimdal. When the rainbow bridge was broken, the transportations paused. Till the 5,000-year cycle comes, the seven worlds will be aligned again. On the contrary to Greek mythology, where Thor is more likely to be just in the same world as humans.
The love storyline is very classical, like Sleeping Beauty or Cinderella. The girl was the one waiting for the perfect guy to show up. When the perfect guy appeared, they went on the same mission and fell in love. When they had to be apart because the bridge was broken, the girl had to wait again.
